Description: Together with United Way and new friends, ServePro & the Junior League of Binghamton, packaged 500 ‘five day meal boxes’ to be delivered by CHOW to local residents impacted by COVID-19
Goal: “The COVID-19 pandemic impacted so many lives in so many ways. In the height of isolation and quarantine, many people and families were stranded at home without a means to retrieve groceries, and a loss of income to afford them. We called United Way and asked
how we could help, and they told us about the demand for meal boxes to get out into the community. We rolled up our sleeves, jumped on the meal box train and helped CHOW serve those in need.”
