CIP Partner: Broome County 4-H
Description: “Red & White Catering coordinated a ‘Farm to Table’ dinner at the Broome County Regional Farmer’s Market. Food & beverage was locally sourced to support Broome & Tioga farmers and producers, such as Shared Root Farms, Catskill Cattle, Hillcrest Dairy, Infiniti Greens, Agzeit, M& D Gourmet Nuts, Java Joe’s, Beer Tree, Waterman’s Distillery, Jaret’s Stuffed Cupcakes and our Butcher Shop.
We sold 50/50 tickets and hosted a Chef cook off with the Broome 4-H students during the dinner to increase raised funds for the 4-H program.”
Goal: Broome County 4-H is a youth development program of Cornell Cooperative Extension and connects youth to hands-on learning opportunities that help them grow into competent, caring, contributing members of society. Our goal was to raise money & awareness for the Broome County 4-H program & expose the community all the local farmers/producers in the area that can provide delicious food and beverage selections.
