Description: “Local residents, Chenango Bridge R&W owners and employees volunteered for shifts to deliver nutritious meals to Broome County residents.
In addition, R&W hosted an evening for local residents, Meals on Wheels board members and R&W employees to create custom placemats and greeting cards for MOW residents to receive with their meal delivery. R&W provided all the art supplies, pizza and salads.”
Goal: “Meals on Wheel is a Nonprofit Organization
supported by volunteers to deliver nutritious meals and friendly company to older adults, those recovering from illness and people with disabilities. To raise awareness within the Binghamton community of the Meals on Wheels program and encourage local residents to volunteer to deliver meals.”
